LIGHT THE FUSE

Virtual Fireworks Maker

Light a fuse and watch the sky open — a firework without the smoke, the noise or the risk. Save it as an MP4 and send it, so they can look up with you. A virtual firework burns on screen instead of in the air, so you can light one in a flat, a hotel room or a classroom. It costs nothing to watch, and you walk away with a video instead of a mess to sweep up.

What Is a Virtual Firework?

Virtual fireworks are fireworks rendered on screen. The fuse burns, the shell lifts and the burst opens, but nothing actually ignites. A virtual firework is all light and no fire, which is why it works anywhere you have a screen.

That is the big difference from the real thing. A real firework needs a match, an open space and a clear sky; it leaves smoke behind, makes a lot of noise, and is banned in many cities. Virtual fireworks need only a phone, a tablet or a laptop. There is nothing to store, nothing to clear away and no one to frighten.

The sound is real, even though the fire is not. You hear the strike of the match, the crackle of the fuse and the boom of each burst, so the show feels like the night it imitates. That is why virtual fireworks suit a room indoors, and why they are so easy to send to someone far away.

Why Light a Virtual Firework?

No fire, no smoke, no noise

Real fireworks are often restricted, and not always safe to light. A virtual one can be lit anywhere, any time, with nothing to clean up. Dogs and cats panic at real fireworks, and a loud night can unsettle neighbours, babies and anyone who prefers quiet. Light virtual fireworks on a screen instead and the sky stays calm. It works just as well indoors, in a flat, a dorm or a hotel room.

Fireworks are better shared

Half the joy of a firework is someone looking up beside you. Send the video, and they get to watch it burst. Virtual fireworks travel well: you light it here and they watch it there. Send the MP4 by WhatsApp, iMessage, Instagram or email, whichever they use, and on a phone it can be saved straight to Photos, so the show is waiting whenever they want to see it again.

For any moment

A birthday, a holiday, a quiet evening, or just because — a small spark to mark it. Use virtual fireworks for a birthday, for Valentine’s Day or an anniversary, or ring in the year with New Year fireworks. Light a diya for Diwali, put Christmas fireworks over a tree, or make a quiet evening feel like an occasion.

How the Fireworks Video Works

  1. Choose what to light

A heart, a birthday cake, a rose, a Diwali diya, a Christmas tree or a New Year bottle — whatever fits the moment.

  2. Pick the fireworks

From a hand-picked mix to a Grand Willow, a ring or a heart burst. The mix is a paced sequence chosen for the object you light, the Grand Willow is a tall burst that drips gold, the ring opens like a halo, and the heart burst blooms in the shape of love. Every one of these virtual fireworks is drawn live on screen.

  3. Set the length

20, 30 or 45 seconds — the show is paced to fit. Twenty seconds suits a quick message; forty-five fills a screen when you cast it to a TV.

  4. Make the night yours

Add floating sparkles and, if you like, your own photo behind the fireworks. Drag to move the fireworks or the photo, and resize them until everything sits exactly where you want it.

  5. Light it, then share it

Watch it as often as you like. When you love it, generate the MP4 and send it to someone who should see it. What you download is an MP4 file, not a link, so you save your virtual fireworks yourself and send them however you like.

The Six Things You Can Light

Virtual fireworks are lit one object at a time, and each object burns in its own way.

Heart fireworks

Fire runs along the outline of a glowing heart, once all the way round, then opens out to either side like wings. These heart fireworks are the ones for Valentine’s Day, an anniversary or a plain I love you. Writing something longer than a fuse? Make a love letter →

Cake

The candles show the age you choose, and Happy Birthday appears across one of the tiers as the fire climbs, a cake that bursts into a show instead of waiting to be blown out. Want the candles on a cake you can send? Make a birthday cake →

Rose

A rose that burns open one petal at a time, the flame spreading outward from the centre until the whole bloom glows. Quiet and simple, a love note without any words. Prefer flowers to sparks? Build a bouquet → Or put a whole bouquet together, bloom by bloom: DigiBouquet →

Diwali

A diya and a rangoli, lit one small flame at a time until the whole pattern glows. Diwali fireworks follow over the lamps, so the festival of light feels complete even when you are far from home.

Christmas

The tree lights up tier by tier from the bottom, garland and gifts included, and the star comes on last. Then Christmas fireworks open above it while snow begins to drift down.

New Year

A bottle shakes, the cork shoots off and a fountain of confetti follows. New Year fireworks light the sky behind it, so midnight arrives on time wherever you are.

What You Get at the End

You get one MP4 video file of your virtual fireworks, in portrait format made for phones. Download it and send it yourself by WhatsApp, iMessage, Instagram or email; on a phone you can save it straight to Photos. It is a file, not a link, so it plays anywhere and stays with them for as long as they keep it.

The preview is free. You can watch the whole show, with sound, as often as you like, and you only unlock it when you generate the MP4: $3.99, now $2.20. That is a one-time price, with no subscription and no monthly fee.

The video has sound by default: the match, the fuse and the bursts. If you want it quiet, switch on Silent export before you download. Either way, your virtual fireworks arrive ready to send.

Fireworks Video FAQ

Is it a real firework?

No. Everything is drawn on screen, with the sound of the match, the fuse and the bursts. It looks and sounds like the real thing, and you can light it indoors.

How do I share it?

Generate the MP4 and download it, then send it by WhatsApp, iMessage, Instagram or email. On a phone you can also save it straight to Photos.

Can I see the video before I pay?

Yes — the preview plays the whole show, with sound, for free. You only unlock the video when you generate the MP4.

Does the video have sound?

Yes, by default — the match, the crackle of the fuse and the firework bursts. Turn on Silent export to download it without audio.

What can I send it for?

Birthdays, Diwali, Christmas, New Year, anniversaries — anything worth lighting up.

Can I light a virtual firework indoors?

Yes — nothing ignites, so there is no flame, no smoke and nothing to clear away. It plays on your screen wherever you are.

What is the difference between a virtual firework and a real one?

A real firework has to be lit outside and makes smoke and noise. A virtual firework is drawn on screen, so you can light one in a room, at any hour, without frightening pets or neighbours.

Can I use my own photo behind the fireworks?

Yes. You can put one of your own photos behind the show, then drag and resize it until the fireworks sit where you want them.
